AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016

ISO 9001 certification. The standard that opens enterprise procurement.

Large customers and government panels increasingly require ISO 9001 before they'll add you to their supply chain. We build your quality management system and sit with you through Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits — so you get the certificate, not just the paperwork.

WHAT THIS GETS YOU

A certificate that enterprise and government procurement recognise.

ISO 9001 is often a prerequisite for government panels, enterprise supply chain registration, and many industry-specific contracts. Having it on file means you don't get screened out before the work even starts.

Axel builds the quality management system that certification bodies audit against, and stays involved through the audit itself. You don't need to understand the standard in detail — that's our job.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

A complete QMS, built into your existing tools.

Quality management system

Your QMS built into SharePoint — document control, version register, audit schedules, and management review records, all structured to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016.

  • Document control and version register
  • Controlled document library
  • Internal audit schedule and evidence log
  • Nonconformance and corrective action workflow
  • Objectives, KPIs, and management review pack

Required documentation

Every mandatory document the standard requires, written and structured for your business — not a template you fill in yourself. We write to your scope, your processes, and your industry.

  • Quality policy and quality manual
  • Scope statement and context of the organisation
  • Risk and opportunity register
  • Competence and training records
  • Supplier evaluation process

Audit support

We sit with you through both stages of the certification audit. We brief the auditor, handle technical questions, and respond to any nonconformances raised — on the day, in the room.

  • Stage 1 (document review) preparation and attendance
  • Stage 2 (implementation audit) preparation and attendance
  • Nonconformance response and corrective action
  • Certification body liaison

THE PROCESS

From kickoff to certified.

  1. 1

    Scoping call

We confirm your certification scope — which products, services, or locations are included — and identify any industry-specific requirements. We'll also help you choose an accredited certification body if you don't have one.

  2. 2

    QMS build and documentation

We build your quality management system into SharePoint and write every required document. Typical time from kickoff to audit-ready is two to four weeks for most businesses.

  3. 3

Stage 1 audit — document review

The certification body reviews your documentation. We sit alongside you, handle any questions about how the system works, and address any findings before Stage 2.

  4. 4

Stage 2 audit — implementation audit

The auditor verifies that your QMS is live and working. We're in the room for the full audit, respond to nonconformances on the day, and stay available until your certificate is issued.
